Bussetti - the company with the Italian name and a particular passion for chemistry - is celebrating its 90th birthday in 2020. Bussetti is a classic Austrian SME with 80 employees that is still family-owned today. The company's headquarters are in the middle of Vienna's 17th district, in Hernals. This is where the course for the future is set. There is research , the intensive customer contact maintained and the company manages.

The plant in Marchtrenk, in the Hausruckviertel, was founded in 1952. In addition to the former production hall , new production and storage buildings are constantly being added in order not only to meet current requirements, but also to think ahead. And Bussetti doesn't just think locally: around 1,000 customers from 90 countries and seven divisions show the unbelievable breadth of the company. The clear customer focus , the enthusiasm for research and development and the design options shape the working style and the success that has lasted for decades .

Bussetti does not see itself as a supplier, but as a partner to its customers. We work together on individual, perfectly coordinated solutions. The product range includes defoamers, release agents, cleaners, emulsifiers, fatliquors and auxiliaries. The first products were developed for the leather industry. In the meantime, the extensive and varied biotechnology area has been added, as well as the wood industry, textile care, the paper industry and applications in the areas of paint, varnish and building materials. Bussetti's range enables smooth production processes .

Sustainability is not a catchphrase at Bussetti, it is lived practice. The company relies entirely on renewable energies in the production facility with its own hydropower plant and photovoltaic system. As far as possible, petrochemical raw materials are avoided. Many of Bussetti’s main products are made from natural fats and oils .
