California Sulphur Company

California Sulphur Company (Calsulco) commenced operations during August of 1983. Our facility is strategically located with easy access to all Los Angeles refineries as well as the Ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach bulk and container facilities. Beginning in 1983, Calsulco has transported, pelletized and shipped over 9 million metric tons of sulphur.

California Sulphur Company operates a 2,000 metric ton per day Devco II wet form pelletizing unit which produces a uniform, low moisture, low acidity prill. The product meets all standard sulphur sales contract specifications. Calsulco has the capability to store over 90,000 metric tons of finished product.

We own and operates a modern, low emissions fleet of 15 trucks that service all the Los Angeles area refineries daily. Our fleet has been recognized by the California Highway Patrol for outstanding maintenance and safety.

With easy access to the Ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach, California Sulphur Company can deliver either bulk or containerized sulphur to meet the needs of our sales partners. Bulk ships load in the Port of Long Beach at Berth 214 operated by MetroPorts and load at a rate of 8-10,000 ton per day. Calsulco offers high-speed live container loading that can deliver an average of 40-50 twenty-foot container a day to either port.
