Ecohelix is a Stockholm based biotech company currently scaling up a proprietary biopolymer processing technology towards production. At Ecohelix, we are confident that a large quantity of chemicals and materials can in the future be manufactured sustainably from biobased raw materials. Our partnering mills has the raw material and we have the technology to make this vision a reality in many application areas.

Ecohelix provides high performing biopolymer products for formulators and brand owners to be utilized in identified applications. The novel bio-based polymer products will have low environmental impact, reducing up to 96% of the greenhouse gas emissions compared to competing solutions. In some cases, Ecohelix™ products have up to 20 times higher performance than existing solutions in the market.

Ecohelix™ polymers have a very good sustainability profile as their production emits only 0.19 tnCO2/tn product.
