Forcen Inc.’s ‘ForceFilm System’ provides precision multi-dimension force sensing and haptic force control/simulation solutions.

The ForceFilm™ System works by measuring strains in the underlying structure, and has a force resolution of as little as 10 mN.

The strain can be measured in multiple dimensions at multiple points, due to the array of sensors integrated into the thin ForceFilm™.

The surface or part can be of any complex shape or geometry. It is integrated with a sealed electronics module that calibrates, measures, and converts the sensing array signals to noise-free force measurements.

These measurements are transmitted by digital wired bus for simple integration, and requires no modification to the components, robot, or assembly.
