Was established as one of the five main entities of the Egyptian Petroleum Ministry according to Prime Minister Decree No. 1755/2002 in accordance with law No. 203/1991 to manage and supervise all petroleum activities under latitude line 28º

To be one of the largest holding entities operating in the fields of energy and mineral resources investments in MENA and to attract investment and achieve sustainability

MISSION

Ganope manages and supervises all upstream and downstream Oil and Gas activities covering the area between latitude lines 28o and 22o and attracts investments contributing to Upper Egypt development plan in addition to cover the demand of petroleum products in upper Egypt depending on qualified technical cadres, advanced technology, and our commitment to social responsibility.
