Since 2010 KLK Emmerich GmbH is part of the internationally operating concern Kuala Lumpur Kepong Berhad (“KLK”). KLK is a Malaysian public listed company with diverse interests in plantations, manufacturing and real estate activities worldwide. We are part of the KLK Oleo division, which has developed into one of the leading global players in the oleochemical industry on the basis of consistent expansion into new resource-based production areas. Around 450 employees are committed to our company’s success every day at our sites in Emmerich am Rhein and Düsseldorf. The location Emmerich am Rhein relies on a more than 100 years old history. The base oleo business of the production plant Düsseldorf is part of KLK Emmerich GmbH since 2015.
