Meito Sangyo
Meito Sangyo started in February 1945 as a company that mainly manufactured and sold household chemicals. After that, we had a confectionery department and worked on chocolate, powdered drinks, etc., and now we have three pillars of business, adding real estate to chemical products and foods.
In fiscal 2020, the 75th anniversary of our founding, we launched the medium-term management plan “MEITO CHALLENGE 2023” with the slogan of “Challenge & Change” with the aim of improving corporate value. In an accounting environment that is changing at an accelerating pace, this plan aims to create an organizational culture that seeks new challenges and changes from management that has traditionally been characterized by “steadyness,” to improve brand value and achieve high quality and high standards. We aim to create value-added products.
In addition, in September 2021, we will publish the "meito Sustainability Report 2021" and will promote initiatives for the SDGs as important issues through business activities that are in harmony with society and the environment toward the realization of a sustainable society.
