Ocean Sonics designs and manufactures the icListen Smart Hydrophone in Nova Scotia Canada. The icListen is unique in its ease of use, flexibility and very high data quality. It can be used as a processing digital hydrophone, acoustic recorder, or both a the same time. Models are available in a range of depth ratings from 200 m, 900 m, 3500 m, up to 6000 m.

The IcListen Smart Hydrophone is used by marine biologists, oceanographers, marine consultants, renewable energy experts and fisheries specialists.

Ocean Sonics Ltd. is a private company established in Great Village in January of 2012. The company's founders have more than 2 decades of experience designing and deploying oceanographic instrument, particularly acoustic systems.
