QazaqGaz

National company QazaqGaz JSC is the largest gas supply company in the Republic of Kazakhstan, representing the interests of the state on domestic gas market and worldwide.

JSC NC "QazaqGaz" is a vertically integrated national gas company operating along the entire chain from exploration and production to the sales of final products.

JSC "NC "QazaqGaz" was renamed from Joint Stock Company "NC "KazTransGas" by the Decree of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan No. 982 dated 31.12.2021.

KazTransGas Company had been established in accordance with the Decree of the Republic of Kazakhstan № 173 dated February 5, 2000. On June 9, 2004, in accordance with the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan “About Joint-stock companies” dated May 13, 2003, № 415-II, the closed joint-stock society “KazTransGas” was renamed to Joint-stock company “KazTransGas”.

By the Decree of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated November 30, 2021 No. 852, KazTransGas JSC was given the status of a National Company.

The sole shareholder is Sovereign Wealth Fund «Samruk-Kazyna» JSC. QazaqGaz operates natural gas transport via main gas pipelines, provides international transit, sales natural gas on domestic and foreign markets, develops, finances, constructs and maintains pipelines and gas storages.

The group of companies of NC "QazaqGaz" JSC operates gas pipelines with a total length of about 76 thousand km, including 20 thousand km of main gas pipelines with an annual capacity up to 267.8 billion m3 and gas distribution networks with a length of about 56 thousand km.

QazaqGaz is a reliable supplier of gas to consumers, with the largest gas transportation network in the Central Asian region with a unified system of internal gas supply.

Currently, QazaqGaz group of companies is represented in 11 regions of Kazakhstan: Almaty, Aktobe, Atyrau, East Kazakhstan, Zhambyl, West Kazakhstan, Karaganda, Kostanay, Kyzylorda, Mangistau and Turkestan regions, as well as in the cities of the republican significance - the capital of Kazakhstan Nur-Sultan, Almaty and Shymkent.
