Turan Drilling and Engineering

Turan Drilling & Engineering is a joint venture between global drilling and engineering contractor, KCA Deutag and Azerbaijan drilling and integrated well services company, SOCAR AQS.

Established in 2018, as an Azerbaijani company to target the onshore and offshore Caspian drilling and engineering market, Turan Drilling & Engineering is already responsible for managing drilling and maintenance operations on seven platforms in the Caspian Sea.

The drilling facilities for many of our platforms have been designed by KCA Deutag’s engineering specialist, RDS. Many of these projects have combined the experience of operations experts with specialists in rig design, to offer complete end to end solutions. Working closely means we can deliver integrated solutions through the concept stage, design and build and onto operations, maintenance and engineering support.
