University College of the North

The University College of the North is an institution devoted to community and northern development and reflects the Aboriginal reality and cultural diversity of northern Manitoba. UCN students have access to state-of-the-art technology in our labs, libraries, classrooms and fitness facilities. As UCN continues to expand, those learning opportunities grow exponentially. Use the latest and greatest technology available to professionals, such as the computer numerically controlled (CNC) machine in Carpentry. So many of our programs provide you with unique practical training opportunities, whether you are conducting field studies in the Natural Resources Management Technology winter or fall camps, working in a child daycare setting as an Early Childhood Education student, or in Automotive Technician diagnosing and addressing issues with a client’s vehicle.
