Ventraco has been specialized in the breeding of, mainly, mineral pigments for nearly 25 years.

Our goal has never been to be the biggest or cheapest player within our work field. Our drive is to bring high-quality products in the market which are appreciated by our customers.

Innovation is one of our key concepts and nearly all our pigments and additives have been developed in cooperation with our customers.

Next to the breeding of pigments, the coloring of asphalt has always been an important activity for Ventraco. Billions of tones of colored asphalt have been colored by our pigments during the last few years. And we have delivered more than a hundred thousand tone of pigment to asphalt plants, construction factories, and other companies using pigment for all sorts of applications (floors, coatings and fertilizer). These are all companies who want to add color to their product and have been customers with Ventraco for a long period of time. Our ColorFalt pellets have been exported to more than 30 countries!

In the future we want to take colored asphalt to a higher level by offering both the raw materials and know-how as one package to the market. We are convinced that colored asphalt will become more and more important in our environment. Landschape architects and public authorities will prescribe colored asphalt to a larger extend.

We will also keep developing new additives and binders for the roadbuilding industry.
