PureMark® A80 MEA – Triazine is a clear colorless to light yellow or straw-colored liquid with a light amine smell. MEA – Triazine is a cyclic triamine used as a scavenger for sour gases such as H2S in gaseous or liquid streams. MEA – Triazine and its reaction products are readily biodegradable. When using PureMark® A80 MEA – Triazine in formulations it is important to make sure pH is at least 9.5. Poor mixing, uneven distribution, ‘slugging in chemicals’, and elevated temperatures should all be avoided.
