Over-pull events can part the drill line or damage the derrick structure of your rig. Parting pipe can result in damaged wells or expensive fishing expeditions. The Rigsmart Over-Pull Protection System limits the throttle to prevent over-pulling with the drawworks. Data logging is available that records when the throttle was limited, the force on the drawworks at that time as well as the limits for the rig and pipe. The Rigsmart weight indicator is a wireless unit that is accurate and repeatable, with no need to remove the weight indicator during slip and cut. |
