This course is designed for workers in the petroleum industry or any other industry who may be exposed to environments where hydrogen sulfide gas (H2S) may be present. Topics presented will cover physical properties and health hazards of H2S. Each student will be required to operate a self-contained breathing apparatus, a gas detector tube device, as well to perform CPR and rescue lift and drag exercises.

Certified by Energy Canada Safety and is valid for three years.
