The magnetic separator ВИМС is equipped with a vibrating tray for adjusting the optimal flow of the material to be separated, a frequency converter and a remote control panel. The material to be separated is fed vertically to a distributor (vibrating channel), the purpose of which is to achieve a uniform product layer in the area of ​​the magnetic field. When the supplied material enters the area of ​​action of the magnetic field, magnetic or paramagnetic particles are attracted to the surface of the magnetic system, thereby changing their trajectory of movement, and are taken away by the flow distribution system into the tray. All non-magnetic material continues on its natural path to the receiver.
