Kimray’s unique hybrid designed electric pump, combines the high pressure capability of a positive displacement pump with the durability of a diaphragm pump. The Kimray pump uses high pressure plungers to energize the back side of a diaphragm. This creates a hydraulically balanced diaphragm, resulting in the diaphragm moving forward to displace the fluid in the pump head and generate flow. The diaphragm separates the dirty process fluid from the oil required for the positive displacement pump. The pump uses 3 pistons that are 120 degrees apart to generate pulsation free flow.
