NorthQuest 6300, or Polyamino Polyether Methylene Phosphonic Acid, (PAPEMP), is a water treatment agent that has high chelation and dispersion effects, a high value of calcium tolerance, and good scale inhibition effects. NQ6300 can be used as a scale and corrosion inhibitor in circulating cool water systems, and oilfield refill water systems in situations of high hardness, high alkali and high pH value. NQ6300 has excellent scale inhibition ability to calcium carbonate, calcium sulfate and calcium phosphate. Applications include scale inhibition for reverse osmosis systems and multi-step flash vaporization systems in which high salt concentration, high turbidity, and high temperature are usually encountered (such as coal vaporization systems). It is also used as an accessory agent for weaving & dyeing.
