Silbreak 329 silicone demulsifier can quickly and effectively separate water from crude oil, particularly in the initial separation. A modified polysiloxane that is formulated without halogens and phenolic derivatives, it typically works well at a low treatment rate, alone or with organic demulsifier, to help boost performance and optimize savings. The properties of Silbreak 329 silicone demulsifier can even help control foaming. Silbreak 329 silicone demulsifier is an excellent solution to consider for breaking water-in-oil emulsion. It typically leaves very little residual water in the separated crude oil and produces an oil-free water by-product that is disposal-ready. The demulsifier also can reduce sludge, leaving a clear oil/brine interface.
