ICS-9905C functions by dissolving paraffin deposits and allowing the dispersants to reduce the surface tension between paraffin particles and dispersing them throughout the produced fluids.

ICS-9905C can be applied by using the following methods:

2. Downhole batch & circulate treatments

3. Downhole perforation soaks

4. Formation squeeze treatments

5. Production equipment batching

6. Continuous downhole and surface equipment injection

The ICS-9905C is a concentrate and can be diluted up to 4 times in aromatic solvent. Typical treatment rates range from 50-500 ppm depending upon severity of the problem.
