Additionally, the ICS-9252 can be used to disperse asphaltene, preventing deposition from plugging flow. The ICS-9252 is primarily used in medium to heavy crudes and condensates including produced oil, fuel oils and other heavy feedstocks. ICS-9252 is a 50% concentrate and can be used as is or it can be diluted in aromatic solvents. ICS-9252 can also be combined with other dispersants, solvents and additives to be formulated into other oil soluble products. An ICG technical representative can discuss these options depending upon the system conditions you are treating. Cold finger testing has determined that the rates of ICS-9252 can vary up to 500 ppm. Treatment rate is highly dependent upon the application and the severity of the problem. |
