Our products utilize the unique properties of Sodium Bentonite for a wide verity of industrial and commercial applications. These properties include the ability to form viscous thixotropic fluids when mixed with fresh water. These properties are very beneficial in drilling applications. They have the ability to lift and remove drill cuttings, seal and prevent formation fluids from entering the hole , reduce friction of drill string against the drill hole and cool and clean the bit. Another aspect of sodium bentonite is its capacity to create very low permeability seals for construction of reservoirs, landfills, containment barriers and cutoff walls. Another major consumer of our bentonite products is in the animal feed industry where it is used as a feed supplement and feed binder. Benefits to this industry include maximizing nutrient uptake in livestock and poultry, improved weight gain and egg production in poultry and milk yield in cattle. It also reduces the incidence of scouring in poultry and pigs and helps reduce acidosis in cattle.
