Zinc salicylate is prepared by heating sodium salicylate and zinc sulfate in water. The dihydrate salt is a colorless needle crystal, which becomes anhydrous salt when heated to 150°C. Soluble in water and ethanol. Trihydrate salt is a colorless needle-like crystal, which becomes dihydrate salt when heated to 100°C, and becomes anhydrous salt at 150°C. It can dissolve in 20 times the water at 20℃.
