Ammonium Chloride (NH4Cl) is a white inorganic crystalline salt of 98% purity. Features: - It brines contribute to formation damage control by stabilizing the water sensitive clays during workover and completion operations. - It brines eliminate the risk of scale formation when either the produced gas or formation waters are rich in carbonate and sulfate ions. - It brines prevent the formation of insoluble fluorosilicates in sandstone acidizing with mud acid. - An endothermic reaction takes place when Ammonium Chloride is added to water. This results in a decrease in brine temperature. |
