Ammonium thiosulfate is a slightly toxic, inorganic, white, inorganic compound. Exposure can cause skin and eye irritation. Extended exposure may irritate the respiratory system. Ammonium thiosulfate is non-flammable with an ammonia odor, is readily soluble in water, slightly soluble in acetone and insoluble in ethanol and diethyl ether. |
