Acetyl Tribute Citrate, also known as Acetyltributylcitrate and ATBC, is a colorless liquid organic compound that is used in industry as a plasticizer in the manufacture of nail polish and other cosmetics. It is prepared by acetylation of tributylcitrate and is considered a potential replacement of DEHP and DINP. Acetyl tribute citrate is manufactured from citric acid via the tributyl ester followed by acetylation.
