Doverhib CI 181TO has been developed as a corrosion inhibitor base providing exceptional film strength which can be deployed in a variety of fluid systems for wetting or corrosion inhibition. CI 181TO is particularly effective in the inhibition of corrosion mechanisms in H2S – sour, and CO2 - sweet hydrocarbons. Further CI 181TO can be formulated to be miscible in oil, water and brine systems making for a surprisingly versatile corrosion inhibitor. As an oil soluble inhibitor the CI 181TO is employed in diverse operations like tubing, squeeze, batch and flush treating and pigging. The more popular water soluble form is used both downhole as well as surface treatments. Downhole the CI 181TO is deployed via string, dump bailer, and injector valve among other techniques. In corrosive gas wells the CI 181TO is used in the water dispersible form via wellhead injection. |
