An important chemical raw materials, mainly for the production of adipic acid, hexamethylene diamine, cyclohexanone, caprolactam, stabilizer. It can be used as soap, and detergent manufacturing disinfection emulsion for rubber, resin, nitrocellulose, metal soap, oil, ester, ether solvent, mixture of paint, leather degreasing agent, release agent, dry cleaners and polishes. Cyclohexanol is also the raw material of fiber finishing agent, insecticide and plasticizer. Cyclohexanol and phosgene react to get cyclohexyl chloroformate, and it is the intermediate of peroxide two cyclohexyl carbonate |

Cyclohexanol is the organic compound with the formula HOCH(CH2)5. The molecule is related to cyclohexane by replacement of one hydrogen atom by a hydroxyl group. This compound exists as a deliquescent colorless solid with a camphor-like odor, which, when very pure, melts near room temperature. |
