An organic compound; colorless and transparent; become yellow after long time storage, has scent of ester liquid; become shiny crystal during cooling. By light effect, it turns into a brown liquid and generates resin. Slightly soluble in water, soluble in alcohol, chloroform, ether, benzene, acetone, ethanol, ether and most organic solvents. It is vulnerable to water and can be decomposed into acetic acid and acetone.
