A kind of colorless crystals with special odor, become pink in air and light. Slightly soluble in water at room temperature. At 65 ℃ it has miscibility with water; hardly soluble in petroleum ether. But has miscibility with ethanol, ether, chloroform and glycerin and alkali aqueous solution. Phenol is corrosive, can use alcohol to washing when left on their skin. |
