ImerCare KaoBright kaolin is a 100% natural product specifically designed as an alternative to abrasive silica in standard toothpaste. The unique particle shape of ImerCare KaoBright kaolin, resulting from a specific process, confers a high polishing action, whitening effect and smooth enamel surface.
Using ImerCare KaoBright kaolin contributes to long-term enamel retention and overall oral health.
- Fine particle size: penetrates gaps between teeth improving cleaning efficiency
- Platy structure: protects the delicate surface of the enamel, while offering edges that clean
- 4.5 Mohs hardness: provides just the right level of polishing to remove asperities and contaminants on the harder enamel (Mohs 5.5) surface
ImerCare KaoBright kaolin is micro-biologically controlled by heat treatment and Cosmos approved. Due to its inertness, it is compatible with other toothpaste ingredients, particularly with therapeutic agents such as fluoride.
The performance of ImerCare KaoBright kaolin has been demonstrated by the Oral Health Research Institute at Indiana University, in the USA. Relative Dentin Abrasion, Pellicle Cleaning Ratio and Cleaning Efficiency Index were each measured by representative in-vitro tests. The results and full test methodology are available upon request.
All our cosmetic products are natural, high-quality, chemically-inert and offer good skin tolerance. They are not treated with chemicals during processing. These attributes enable them to be used in cosmetic products that comply with cosmetic directive regulation (EC) n° 1223/2009.
