Our Wollastocoat wollastonite is a fine-particle-size, low-aspect-ratio calcium silicate that has been chemically modified to give it ideal properties as a carbon black replacement filler. Replacing carbon black N990 with Wollastocoat® 1250 or Wollastocoat® M1250 coated wollastonite (at the same phr) in a fluoro elastomer (FKM) with a bisphenol cure system will give you the following benefits: - Improves compression set - Shortens curing times - Maintains torque Key benefits: - Improves compression set - Shortens curing times - Maintains torque |
