Chromic Acid is used in chromium electroplating, aluminum anodizing, copper stripping, corrosion inhibitor, to develop photographs, to purify oil and acetylene, in sulfuric acid as a photoresist stripper, with phosphoric acid as a stripping agent, and as a wood preservative.
