Copper Sulfate is used as a feedstock in the synthesis of other copper compounds, and as an electrolyte for electroplating baths and batteries. Copper Sulfate is also utilized in the electroplating and in mining industries. In analytical chemistry, Copper Sulfate is used in Fehling's solution and Benedict's solution to examine reducing sugars and also to trace protein in the Biuret test |
