Trimethallyl Isocyanurate

Show company
Application
It is used as raw material and intermediate
Description
Trimethallyl isocyanurate (TMI) is a reactive, biodegradable polymer that undergoes hydrolysis to form hydrogen cyanide. Hydrogen cyanide has the ability to react with DNA, disrupting the process of cell replication. TMI has been shown to be biocompatible and can be used as a diluent for polylactic acid particles. TMI also has an advantage over other polymers because it is less viscous and has a lower viscosity than polyethylene glycols.
